H-E Parts to Rebuild 23 Komatsu Trucks

Codelco tapped H-E Parts to rebuild 23 Komatsu 930E haul trucks. The contract includes initial inspection, disassembly, component repair, assembly, delivery and commissioning. Repairs include those to the drivetrain, front and rear wheel groups, suspensions, and differentials.
H-E Parts reported it will use Birrana technology to ensure lowest total cost of ownership through extended component life, simplified maintenance and improved performance. The rebuilds will be conducted through Rajo Inca, Codelco’s Salvador Division. The contract will be managed by H-E Parts Mining Solutions division in Antofagasta, Chile.

H-E Parts said the order was its biggest ever in Chile. “Codelco is one of the largest copper mines in the world, so it is an honor that they trusted in us for this important work,” said Alfonso Teplizky Ergas, general manager, South America, H-E Parts.
