Yokogawa Electric Corporation has introduced the OpreX™ Open Automation SI Kit and the OpreX OPC UA Management Package as components for the implementation of Open Process Automation™ (OPA) systems. These products are designed to improve interoperability and integration across a range of equipment and systems, allowing for optimized costs and the adoption of advanced technology. By adhering to the Open Process Automation Standard (O-PAS™), these tools can facilitate the seamless integration of devices and applications from multiple suppliers, aiming to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency.

The OpreX Open Automation SI Kit provides tools necessary for enabling Distributed Control Nodes (DCNs) within OPA systems, supporting integration and control of various equipment. The OpreX OPC UA Management Package offers services for managing OPC UA-based applications, including communication authentication, alias name resolution, and alarm parameter management.
